ABOUT
NEW LIFE CHRISTIAN SCHOOL has a current enrollment of 150 students, is a ministry of New Life Assembly and is located on the church grounds at 5736 Arboga Road in Olivehurst, CA. Founded in 1981, our program has grown to include a high-quality Preschool and Kindergarten, Elementary, Jr. High and High School classes. All of our curriculum is Christ-centered and features ABeka, Positive Action for Christ and Bob Jones University Press publishers. New Life Christian School is a member of the Association of Christian Schools International (ACSI). All credits earned are transferrable, and meet the California state requirements for graduation.
It is our goal to provide the best education possible, with a Christian perspective in a distinctive Christian environment. We emphasize the pre-eminence and life-changing power of Jesus Christ, through His sacrificial life and atonement on the cross for our sins and the working of the Holy Spirit in the life of the believer. Our goal is to provide a program that promotes superior academics, a sense of family and a spiritual tone.
Mission and Vision
Our Mission
To provide a safe, Christ-centered environment where students achieve excellence in all areas of their lives; educational, spiritual, physical and emotional.
Our Vision
To partner with parents in the training of students to become men and women of God. To equip them to become the next generation of apostles, prophets, evangelists, pastors and teachers.
Administration
Meet our administrator, Mr. John Lewallen. The 2011 - 2012 school year is Mr. Lewallen's fifth year as adminstrator at New Life Christian School. He was a business major in college and graduated from Sac State with a degree in business. Mr. Lewallen also teaches our Health Class for High School and runs the Music Clubs. On weekends you can find Mr. Lewallen playing guitar at New Life Assembly and hanging out with his beautiful wife Jill who is expecting twins in February of 2012.

I began working at NLCS in 1981. At that time, I was a teacher's assistant. Since then, I've served in many positions in our school. For the last 8 years, I've been our secretary.
I've been married for 34 years and I've had two sons that graduated from our school in 1995 and 2000. Now I have 3 grandchildren here!
NLCS has been my life for 30 years now. It's the best place to be!

Sports
Sports
NLCS is proud of our fine athletic department. We participate in the Northern Pacific Area Conference Division V under the leadership of our Athletic Director (and League President) Mr. Ron Strickland.
Prior to participation in interscholastic sports, students must have a sports physical, and show proof of insurance coverage. A $35 per sport fee is charged per athlete. Players, coaches and spectators are expected to demonstrate respect for authority, teamwork and sportsmanship in line with a good Christian testimony. Persons not exhibiting proper behavior at one of our games brings embarrassment to our school; offenders will be asked to correct their behavior or leave the event.
